Used to be you could do some or even all of that in a bank. Then people decided they couldn't be bothered with a decent service and allowed them to be turned into shit. Which of course produces new service providers to do the things people need at extra costs to the people using them and society in general due to extra floor space and bosses and so on.
That blond really needs to study up on her humanities more. Things that let people continue on suffering are not 'good things' or 'things that the jury is still out on'. Things that allow humans to continue suffering are the things that prevent progress towards greater things. Like decent banks, credit systems and livable wages.
