This was the virtuous, noble thing to do a week ago. Now, we don't give a shit about social distancing or wearing masks, because there's a new shining light to distract all the dipshits. The same experts who kept us locked inside as unemployment grew and small businesses were threatened with closing their doors forever will now write a letter applauding the mass riots that are an astronomically larger group than the size we've been told would lead to the end of the world.

It's all bullshit.

Why would you think that anyone other than fascists, antifa, racists or other trouble makers would "applaud" the riots?

Over 1,000 health professionals sign a letter saying, Don't shut down protests using coronavirus concerns as an excuse

"We created the letter in response to emerging narratives that seemed to malign demonstrations as risky for the public health because of Covid-19," according to the letter writers, many of whom are part of the University of Washington's Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Because they are.

Also, I can't tell you how many times I've heard "riots are the voice of the unheard", "people over property", and "they got insurance, bro" this passed week. It's surreal as fuck that there's actually people excusing this, if not outright praising it.

1. follow the guidelines like wear a mask and don't touch each other when going to a protests is relatively safe.

2. most people understand the frustration leading to violence even if they don't condone it. you seem to listen to the wrong people or suffer some selective hearing based on your bias.
