A person doesnt need to every detail of history to know what Russia did was fucked up and their actions should be condemned not condoned by people like you. the NATO guy says it didn't start in 2022, it started in 2014
and he says that Russia had no choice, given the situation
it would be more like if US lost California & the new govt there was discriminating against & killing ethnic Americans for years at the behest of a hostile foreign state/alliance who had just orchestrated a coup there & was providing all the arms & training for them to carry out the attacks while talking about bringing California into their alliance. Then US spent years trying to negotiate a political settlement only to have their efforts disregarded & undermined by the hostile foreign entity before finally using military force to resolve the problem. That's still an oversimplification but closer than what you wrote.
I'm not stopping you from condemning anything but if all you're interested in is condemnation why do you even bother clicking on posts like this?
