I know this is the last thing you want to hear, but there is a running component to that exercise! LOL. After you reel in the rope you run back to where the sled starting point was and repeat. Also, lose the fucking gloves! You're not going to hurt you hands, dont be a puss about it. Learn to love the pain! And add more weight, you added like a 20lb cement dumbbell. It should be more like 200lb! I used to do this exercise when I was training for UFC.

a 20lb dumbbell? try 50kg. including the sled that was around 70kg all up which was fine for what i was doing.
secondly, i don't care how much of a pussy i look like i'd actually like to use my hands later.
there is no running component as i have a busted knee.

Yeah I gotta rag on ya for something since you tagged my name! LOL. I like to see people working on themselves! Keep it up! It gets easier and when you get that chemical dump it feels pretty good! The sled pull is an awesome exercise.
