I went on a police ride along where he arrested a drunk white person being belligerent. He said that he would not have arrested a first nation person for being much more drunk and belligerent. He said that alchol affects them differently and so doesn't judge them as harshly. A white person who gets drunk will have their existing personality amplified, where a first nations person who is drunk becomes a different person.

its complicated. they haven't found a gene responsible for the predisposition to alcoholism, and since they don't have a written history. we don't know how they were before colonization. they think its more an environmental issues(not weather). but yea. they can get way more loaded and loud then the rest. in fact, up north. they can leave a baby in a stroller outside of the bar with a rag that was soaked in gasoline. so the baby doesn't cry, it just sleeps. cops will come by, take the baby to the police station where it can get picked up later. no charges
