1. A few days ago, mobs wanted to occupy Yuen Long just as they did in Shatin. But they had their asses kicked by the Yuen Long villagers.
2. Mobs came back yesterday for revenge and irritated villagers by insulting them. Resulting violence is villagers kicking their asses once again.

Yuen Long is a district in Hong Kong. Last week a bunch of Hong Kong pro-democracy activists went there & messed with the locals, there was some friction & the locals sent them packing. The protesters announced that they wanted revenge & then at about 10pm Sunday night they went back to Yuen Long to take it. But the locals were ready for them & chased them away when they arrived at the train station. Locals are the ones in white shirts.
It actually goes back to the traditional village protection system in China but that's a story for another time.
There's been civil unrest in HK for the past several weeks, similar to the Yellow Vests movement in France. But these protesters have also been lynching people suspected of being mainlanders, vandalising public property, throwing bricks at cops & generally being dicks with their faces covered up. Western media has been lapping it up & painting them as freedom fighters while ignoring the bad shit they do, & the UK govt is also encouraging it.
