A lot of things that seem slow motion in movies, or in videos even; are much faster and shocking in real life. Example: cars are crashing all the time in movies and people just keep driving. In real life, a 30mph frontal crash between cars will cause irreparable internal organ damage from the intertia break. Same happens with rockets, action heroes jump out of the way just in time, where in fact an M8 rocket, as the one used during WWII, travelled at 1,300ft/s. You're not getting out of the way.
