Dont let anyone shame you in prepping, you are responsible for you and your own, fuck anyone who tells you not to prepare. Would you listen to them if they told you not to wear a seatbelt driving a car? Or would you tell them to shut the fuck up?

Prepare for what? A flu type virus that anyone (except those with certain prior conditions) will survive no problem after a few days of feeling bad and fever? Do you "prepare" for the annual flu epidemic too? I bet you don't even get vaccinated.

I'm hearing a few things that should be of concern to US citizens. The CDC seems to be really screwing up like they did with H1N1 in 2009. I don't think there will be (proper) test kits distributed until mid-march & currently the CDC seems very reluctant to test people, even though it's likely spreading right now.
I'm not trying to be alarmist, just saying heads up, look after yourself because your government probably won't. Lookup the best way to avoid catching this thing & keep your older relatives safe. In 2009 the US CDC buried the data & didn't do shit for months. In the end millions were infected & all the US gov had done was shut down a few schools.
