The lengths foodies will go to get the hell away from the kids for an hour, haha. Wondering if the presenter spent some time in Ontario, though. Such appreciation for Montreal food can only come after a stint in Toronto...Also, I'm pretty sure I heard a 'get ooot' or two.  ;-)

Montreal has some ridiculously good poutine if you find the right place.

lols, you're a cheap date. don't get me wrong. poutine is a great comfort food. I do it myself once or twice a year (usually during a cold winter night, so I'm about due). make sure you get to St.Viateur bagel for brunch, on Mount-Royal Blvd. Have the classic (salmon on poppy seed with capers). You'll thank me.
