Awe, they should've just baited us with worm parts but saved the reveal for the movie.
And the worms do not look scary or bizaree enough. They could've really done something different here.

The trailer looks too similar to the original film in my view. I'll give them the benefit of a doubt, but damn.
It's clear they were inspired by the movie rather than the book, and the movie didn't age well having seen it recently.
