China's Human Rights Heaven

China calls it re-education, but Uighur Muslims say it's 'unbearable brutality'

The Chinese government's treatment of Uighers has been just another stain on human history.

Uighurs are Muslims who trace their roots back thousands of years in Central Asia, most currently living in the Chinese province Xinjiang. The group represents less than 1 percent of China's population, but they have endured what the U.S. calls one of the worst human rights crises of modern times. Nick Schifrin reports on how Communist China has persecuted this religious and cultural minority.

A Uyghur woman forced to marry a Han Chinese man in exchange for the release of her family members from concentration camps. She was wearing Han style wedding gown.

The marriages are becoming more and more common as Uyghur families are put into re-education camps and Uyghur women are forced to marry Han men to get them out.

Well the answer is just as amusing... I can't watch the video because I'm on a Chinese airport wifi that won't let me get on a VPN. I'll check it out later, in a day or 2. Maybe. The description is ridiculous though. Monkey should at least look up the history of Uyghur people before trying to describe it to others or pretending to give a shit about their human rights.

Let's not mention the fact that American politicians are pointing fingers at other nations record of human rights abuse towards Muslims. That would just be "whataboutism" lol.

Since I'm limited to China-approved sources rn, here's a background on the terrorist element of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, showing what threat they're dealing with & ignoring the methods they decide to use to eliminate the threat: https://news.cgtn.com/news/2019-10-17/China-ETIM-terrorists-must-be-fought-globally-wherever-they-are--KRvKPtUY5G/index.html

Pushing "whataboutism" by accusing others of "whataboutism". Nice approach. Not in your wu mao textbook but a novel approach.

The only western country that's faced a similar situation that I can think of (separatism from a religious minority in a region with a history of ethnic tension and a foreign-born religion) is Ireland.

I'd be interested to see an honest comparison of the methods of oppression used by UK in Ireland vs prc in xinjiang.

Monkey you don't need to reply, you're not honest & are too immature to discuss as an adult.

No reply to wu mao blabber Dinmin. You are convinced you know the truth, regardless of whether it is or not. No arguing with people as deluded as you.
