How I Would Build The Great Pyramids

There are many theories on how the pyramids were built. This is actually an interesting series of thoughts on how the pyramids at Giza, Egypt were constructed. Discounting the theory that aliens at least helped is very suspect. Aliens may have built them completely...

Well, we don't know with absolute certainty that it wasn't aliens, however, it is highly unlikely albeit more likely than that god did it.

I had an idea about this the other day... they lifted them vertically with cranes & then slid them over to the top of the pyramid along a flat surface. That way the problem is broken into 2 simpler parts, the vertical lift should be possible, 80 tons per block (?)...surely there's a structure you can make to lift them with wood, rope & a few thousand people. The horizontal sliding part should be even easier. Just wax up the surface.

Then theres all the chambers that add to the complexity. The "Kings Chamber" was made out of 40-50 ton granite as opposed to the softer limestone that are 2.5 tons a pop. Altogether about 2.5 million blocks were used.
