You remind me of a character from a short story I wrote named Bort.

Can I tell you the story of Bort, the German Nazi WWII experimental weapon that was misplaced and had no purpose after the war ended?

You don't get the short version of the story unless you upvote my comment. I will not expend my precious time and energy to entertain a 67-year-old lady if she will not at least do me the courtesy of not wearing a stinkface while I'm obliging. Bort is an interesting story - it's worth it. I lost the original, and this just might give me enough motivation to do a second edition, or at least a treatment thereof.

if you would have voted it down, we might have possibly gotten the story about the author, how he was "misdiagnosed" and prescribed antipsychotic medication

Sorry, I thought it might be a chance of handing him/her a bigger spade.

I like you better as uppercase Sal9000. I already told that story - I managed to survive the incompetence of Western medicine. My ex-gf was not so lucky - she died Christmans eve, 2017, from interactions between improperly prescribed medication as a result of a misdiagnoses. Big pharma puppets much of what we call "Doctors", although public awareness of this has increased over the past few years to the point where change might be on the horizon. The stories of malpractice instigated by big pharma are countless - they are legion.

that sounds like a better story but you're coles notes'ing it. im guessing i can't just walk into a doctors office with a sore neck and get a perscription to the same meds someone with schizophrenia takes. i'm guessing i would have to be having some issues upstairs for me to get stuff like that. also, what are the chances you're ex was misusing her scripts? like taking the time coating off, crushing and snorting it? what are the odds that she overdosed and its getting passed of like it was a "interactions" of things in her system?

What you and your girlfriend with the heavy flow do with information like the stories I've told of witnessing people killed by the excesses of big pharma, how you choose to use that, is a reflection of your character. I actually don't know the specific details I can only tell you what I read in her obituary with details relayed by a mutual friend and one of her family members. Apparently it was her 9 year old daughter that discovered her and that kid already had serious emotional and psychological issues. I broke up with her in 2013 specifically because I was concerned about the number of prescriptions and how that was interfering with her ability to mother her child who was experiencing severe behavioral difficulties. Her reasoning for why there wasn't a problem and I was overreacting about all the prescriptions was that they had all been given to her by a doctor and so they were perfectly fine. I saw where it was going and I predicted that she would probably die at some point from the various drugs she was taking and I didn't want to be around for that and it was a difficult decision to make. The happiest girl I ever knew when I was a kid deliberately overdosed on a bottle of opiates that had been prescribed to her originally for a shoulder pain issue.

I've never taken an opiate. Or wait does Tylenol 3 count? The medication I was given incorrectly is prescribed for all kinds of different reasons. In prison they give it to inmates to help them sleep their sentence away. Out here in the real world one of its most common abuses of prescription is to be given to people as a sleep aid. When I give out information here I watch very closely to see what people do with it - just more dye for the petri dish although in the case of you guys LOL it's pretty predictable.

Oh and your guesses are wrong which isn't surprising. 10 years ago you could walk into a doctor's office with a sore neck and come out of there with just about whatever you want if you know how to say the right words and they would guide you in the conversation to ensure you come out with what you wanted. I did a tech writing contract in the early 2000s to document a product that drug company sales people use to track the various incentives, or we would typically call them bribes, they give to doctors to reward them for volume of medication prescribed.

so you don't know. what i said could be factual true, she could have been railing her meds and you don't know. you want to know of a real medical conspiracy? did you know that one of the main ingredients of cough syrup is dxm. one of the side effects of it is that it makes it difficult to climax. do you think people would take it if they knew they wouldn't be able to get off?
