u need to set a limit order at the price target u want to buy at. Tesla is such a high volume stock that sometimes limit orders wont be filled. the only way around that is to build ur own algo. 75% of all stock trading is done by algos and they are much faster than humans.

That's why I was surprised to see it filled because of the volume.
As for algos, sure many of the firms are using them but are you a individual investor? How many of us regular folks use it?
I've looked into it a bit, definitly interested, maybe I need to prioritze the hobby.

Tesla is almost always the most volitite stock in the market and that can mess with purchacing shares also. I have no idea how to use an algo or build one -_-;
