Boaters Save Struggling Bear

That's probably a bear jar used to keep goods & food safe in bear country. If so, then there's a small chance that bear has been acclimated to human camps as a source of food, in which case it will probably end up being shot by a ranger anyway. One might even suspect that the very people who shot this video were the owners of the jar, and they took to the boat to help the bear after it went off with their jar.

Additionaly, if it ever finds itself trapped in a jar again, it will search for other humans possibly? It would be great to have an expert share with us what the right thing to do is. It might seem obvious to intercede, but I think with bears there are some considerations to have considering human interaction changing their future behaviour and potentially putting future campers at risk.
