A bald eagle grabbed a duck on Panama Flats, Saanich (Victoria), Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Possibly a blue winged teal duck or a green winged teal duck.
A seagull chased the eagle after it caught the duck. We didn't know if it was trying to chase off the eagle, or hoping to get some duck leftovers.
The day before there were three bald eagles, stirring up the Canada Geese and Cackling geese. This was November 25, 2019.
