Good, we need more people to understand there are consequences for your actions. You show up to a protest event challenging people and agitating them, well you might get punched or kicked. Would you go to a football game and stand with the opposing teams fans and trash talk their team? No, you'd get your ass kicked. Same logic should apply here.

Yes. When you're high at a protest and decide you want to round-house kick some lady because she said a baby is a baby, you best be ready for the consequences if I'm standing next to her.

You are missing my point. If you go to a football game and stand in the middle of a bunch of fans of team A and start saying shit about team A, you'd be starting shit and would likely get your ass kicked. How is it different then you go to a group of protesors and start arguing with them, you might get round house kicked. This lady walked up with a camera in their face simply to instigate them and she got kicked. Pretty funny. I used to fuck with the anti-abortion people all the time in my city and I was not niave enough to believe they would not dare to assualt me, in fact I had a guy swing on me, I own up to the fact that I went there to start shit and got what I was asking for, this lady in this video should understand that as well. Same as when those black people went to the Trump rallies and got beat up, I have no sympathy for them. They went there to start shit and got what they were asking for. Own up to your actions dumbass.

Besides all the good reasons to whack someone, 'battery' is typically a crime, so there's a good reason not to expect it and not to do it. Anyway, not sure if this point applies here anyway as the guy even surprised himself, I don't beleive he meant to do harm, simply to stop the videoing. Which, on another topic, given the amount of retaliation a video can cause via social media (including loss of job as happened here), filming someone could arguably be considered threatening so maybe it's in your right to physically stop them.

My objection has nothing to do with either team or whether this is a sport's match or a protest. That guy thought he could violently attack a woman because she said something he didn't like, and he looks like he's never really, really been badly beaten. That's all.

Arguably the biggest problem with millenials is that they haven't been beat up. Not by parents, not by classmates.

That is a plus and minus I suppose.. Parents should definitely not hit their own children... But if your kid grows up in an environment where you can get away with insulting/dehumanizing/gossiping about peers free of consequence? Then they will hold that for life.

And then its a wake up call, when they meet those who do not tolerate it even an ounce. They get their boyfriend/girlfriend beat the fuck up. Or maybe even they themselves get punched in the face... And their entire world crumbles. How could this happen to them? How could someone be so angry that they are talking shit/ gossiping/ insulting them behind their back that this person felt the need to hit the one doing it?!

No title nines... No police reports... No running for help. Just fists and a face. So sad this lesson isn't taught as readily in highschool as it use to be.

Right on point! I go to these events called Rainbow Gatherings, got started in the 70's by Vietnam vets and hippies, its basically a bunch of people camping out for a few weeks. Well, last month I beat up this little punk who came into me and my friends teepee and started talking shit and didnt think there would be any consequences for his loud mouth. I see this shit all the time. It's supposed to be a peaceful event and these kids dont understand that if you start mouthing off you may run into someone who wont take that shit and will kick your ass. The next day he kept saying it was only words and not physical violence, well words certainly can and does lead to physical violence with some people. Lesson learned the hard way for this little punk who probably has never been beat up before, judging from his reaction when I popped him a couple of times. Hopefully he will think twice before mouthing off to people he doesn't even know.

I find this point really interesting. What is best for kids then? Maybe a little boxing or wrestling? So the kids know and understand the power of physical force, can take a punch but at the same time respect the result of it.
