How you cope when masks are no longer needed? The other day Rachel maddow said that she had to reprogram herself to not look at people who aren't wearing masks while outdoors with no one else around as threats. How will you cope?

I will go back to not judging people as good/bad based off their appearance because I do not employ critical race theory teachings.

i wont have to cope because i wont care. i got covid from someone i work with because we sometimes sit in the same place when the other isn't around. so when we get to a point where a large portion are vaccinated and they say its ok to go without a mask, i'll be like "cool"

Absolutely. Your posting history is a testament to someone who doesn't care whether or not people wear masks.

i dont care because it doesnt matter. you dont want to wear a mask. i cant force you to. i dont have to serve you and you cant force me to. even if the eohu lifted the mask mandate. nothing is stopping stores from continuing on with how things are going. you can stand outside and protest all you like but if you want in the store. youre going to have to mask up

This is awesome! Wish I could've been there to help the maskless buy an avacado or something. Perhaps some bacon.

They care so much by wearing mask and yet they don't mind coming right up to your face. Hypocrites.

Got my first jab on the weekend, in 3 weeks I'll have the 2nd one.

To the retards:

Protecting others isn't your thing, I know, behaving socially responsible like a human being is too socialist for you. Thankfully most people actually think like me, sal9000 and others on here and wear a mask rather than having pointless discussions. None of you would have the balls to partake in a "protest" like this anyway so fuck off.

If you don't want to be "controlled" throw away your phone and go offline, don't victimise yourself for being selfish idiotic pricks.

I personally am looking forward to a maskfree summer of 2021, NOFUCKINGTHANKS to you, though!

I'm already being asked why I'm still wearing my mask at work, and then they answer their own question by telling me that it's because my work is making me.

No, my employer isn't making us anymore, I just face 200 customers a night half of whom don't wear masks. I'll be one of the very last people to take it off.

The mask doesn't protect you from getting it.. ... stops you from spreading it. Masks are for the sick.

When will the masktards get it? Probably never! One and a half years and still the same dumb song....

NOTHING (other than a full body suit made to protect from virus will fully protect anyone. Wearing masks is about reducing risk.

If a sick person wears a mask the chance they infect others are reduced.
If a healthy person wears a mask the chance they get infected by a sick person is reduced.

Cloths or  towels are less efficient then masks but are still better than wearing nothing.

YOU DON'T KNOW whether or not you or a person in your vicinity are sick and contagious hence (unless you have received your 2nd vaccination a week or so ago) it is adviseable you wear a mask when interacting in close proximity to others.

It is so simple, unless one is a conspiracy theorist of course.

Sure masks can stop you from getting it. They help stop you from putting your fingers in your mouth to start with. They also help stop particles from getting in.

"stop you from getting it" implies 100% protection. This is not the case.  All the covid measures (including mask wearing) are about risk reduction.

I don't think that really implies 100% protection. Birth control can stop you from getting pregnant. CAN. As opposed to, birth control stops you from getting pregnant.

But yeah it is what it is, I was really making a comment about what Dagambit said about how masks somehow only help stop spreading it, but does nothing to stop you from getting it. Which makes zero sense.

What else was to be expected?
