If this was a thing i would send my kids over there, what do you think they do at karate training for kids, and the mother crying and suing for 25000 give the kids some room let them play

I would argue, though subtle, the line needs to be very clear on proper fighting situations and even more so for young children who have no idea what's going on. Karate teaches kids discipline, respect for the coach(master), not to use their skills outside of karate, not to use it to harm/bully other kids.

There was so many things wrongs with this situation. Clearly one kid was distressed by the situation and the teacher's didn't notice or care at all. There were also a lot of younger children in there with likely no context given to why the kids were allowed to fight or any follow-up reinforcement on what's a proper place/time to engage in fighting or not. The teacher jumping up and down like it's entertainment is not a positive example for many of the kids who were probably confused and looking for some guidance on how to react and feel.

I have no idea the motivation for this but there are so many other ways for kids to blow off steam as well as difuse conflict situations.

I agree but the context needs to be given by parents not teachers, kids dont realy respect them anyway they are outsiders to them, just that they are allowed to fight means nothing, it is in a controlled enviroment with gloves, in later life they will get in other situations where they did not volunteer for, so i believe this is a great school for learning to fight while playing and bullying dont even come in play they are to young for that kind of behaviour.

Just to clarify, the daycare (not school or school age children) does not condone this behaviour, the teachers were even fired. And if teacher's are not earning respect from the children then why would the children value anything the teacher teaches? Which means the teachers are useless, ie the teachers aren't doing their job. Kids need to be given consistent context and guidance at home and school, otherwise they will simply be confused... which is worse than being taught the wrong thing. Conflicting information at this age will lead to insecurities within the children.

As for learning to fight and unvolunteered fighting opportunities, why not just take them to karate as you mentioned? At least the teacher (who will strive to be respected) are experienced fighters and be able to properly control the environment.
