yeah but it's more wholesome ... typicaly is more flowy & not quite as techy or aggro as you'd see in the west. Lots of long boarding, about as many girls as guys are into it. I saw a chick land a kickflip on a normal board right outside a mall entrance one night. That's where they tend to skate, there & public squares. Mall rat skater teens hanging out & having fun. People don't seem to mind them. Maybe koz they're not grinding everything in site or throwing themselves down flights of stairs :D
