Since some of us are apparently more priveledged then others regarding points, I was thinking it would be cool to use our accrued points to bring down other users.
Us plebs who started with no points (even though I had like 20k on the previous site) have to slave away posting content and actually contributing just so we can comment and vote and stuff.
What if us poor less priveledge people could use our points to "assasinate" more wealthy users? And by assasinate, I mean sacrifice some of our own points to remove some of theirs.
Say I have gathered 1000 points, but I see some trust fund national walkin around struttin his stuff like he owns the place (even though he just inherited his wealth). What if I could sacrifice say 500 of my own points, to deduct 250 or 300 of his points? Like a hit point detection. Then he would recieved a message saying an attempt was made upon his wealth etc.

I gave away, like, 4000 of my points last night to a bunch of users so they could comment and not have to spam the page so much.

Sounds dodgy, what would be cool is if you could "stake" on videos. So if you upload a video, it'll potentially give you 50 points (if it gets voted), but you should be able to stake on it (and other people's submittions) a certain amount of points. So if you know the video is good and its going to be voted up, you can stake 1000 of your points and get 2000 back if it gets approved, or lose 1000 if it gets voted off. That way, you know that videos with high votes & high stakes are the real jewels of spiked.
