purg: according to a couple of this guy's other vids, the higher end is 500fps with top notch being 700fps, though some fields ban that kind of power. this gives 80m+ range.
cahu: some as any cheat, can't have fun without feeling cool, which means if you're not winning then to be cool and have fun you have to give yourself an edge. this and a couple other vids i've seen, when someone is really clearly cheating, they start going for the face. thought the same about the aim, though when they're releasing 2 vids per week, practice makes perfect seems to be the case.

The ranges can be in the high 100s with proper guns. airsoft guns do not shoot straight, espaicly the longer range ones. they have something called "hop up" which basicly makes the bb spin once it leaves the barrel, this allows the bb to arc. once u get used to your own gun, you can figure out how much hop up for what distance, and how far up to aim. its a really intersting "sport"

Why would anyone play this sport and not follow the rules? I've played airsoft at a VERY amateur level and there is no way you don't feel one of those suckers hit you. Also how do they know how to compensate for wind and drop at those distances with such a light pellet?
