There's a lot that's been said about the encounter, almost exclusively from people who weren't there. If people care so much, why not hear a 1st-hand account?
As for the kid, a PR firm tied to CNN wrote a statement for him & release it through Jake Tapper.

First off i don't understand why the MAGA kids are there in the first place but i saw the video and the indian goes to them and start beating his drum in his face in an atempt to iritate the kids or try to get a violent reaction and play the victim. His reaction is not of someone that is afraid and caliming that he was makes him a liar.
There were also some blacks calling themselves the black israelites that were shouting insults at the white kids for no aparent reason and also calling for the indians to join their one true god religion. The blacks also seem the most racist of them all sayng things like the white man ain;t white, what color he turn when you smack him ? LOL.
