Still better then a third world country and better then where the immigrant caravan is coming from. These people get food stamps, clothes, medicaid, free meals, etc... Look at some of those tents, some were $2-300 tents. Now look up shanty towns in south america. And safety wise, they have protection, if they are assaulted or robbed or murdered the police may still help, in south and central america the police wouldnt care at all.I've been saying this for years, for $1 you can get a shit burger from mcd's and get more calories then some will in a day in alot of places around the world. Its all about perspective.

In Belgium if you don't have a job or anything, the state gives you a minimum income of about 1200 Dollar anyway, bums are very rare in Belgium, yet Trump would say that Brussels looks like a hellhole, well i agree but it is a hellhole without bums, i don't like city's either
you get money, very low cost healthcare, if you have a low income you can additionaly get cheaper government housing for a couple of hundreds a month with the option of buying it cheap.
Situations are very different in different country's
They are shipping food aid to 3th world country's while there are ppl living in cardboard boxes on their own streets, it is all about keeping them down, if the bums in America get food, they keep living like that and don't work same with other nations that recieve food aid.
